My name is Bobby. I am a dry stone waller from Cumbria. I live in Troutbeck and race for Ambleside AC.
This website is a collection of my writing about running, much of which was created originally for The Fellrunner, which is the journal of the Fell Runners Association.
I also do writing about things other than running, which you can find here.
Spidershankes is supposedly an old local dialect insult for a lanky person*. I have lived in Cumbria most of my life, and never once heard it used, but people do call me lanky, and every website needs a name.
